Housing: Don't want to deal with the hassle and expense of rental agencies, condos, and rental homes in the Mt. Baker/Glacier area?Neither do we which is why we bought a nice four bed mountain home in Glacier, just 20 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area.
We're renting rooms and sleeping space for skiers, climbers, racers, and others who need a place for one or more nights when visiting the Mt. Baker and Glacier area.
There is a sheltered deck, a large open deck, covered areas below, a ski bench, bbq, a game/party room, inside equipment storage, and if you're into cooking there's a full kitchen.
Master Bedroom, $95/night: queen size futon with private bathroom with tub and shower, sleeps 1-2 people.
Loft, $75/night: two double beds in a comfortable loft with a view of Mt. Baker, sleeps 1-4 people.
The "French Room", $75/night: private room with queen size bed on main floor, view of Mt. Baker, sleeps 1-2 people.
Downstairs "camping dorm", $35/night: comfortable downstairs location with a full bathroom where you can roll out a sleeping pad or use a cot with bedding provided. Room for up to six people whether you know them or not.
